Shanteshwar Barbade founded SBA in 1989. SBA is a Latur-based firm working with clients and collaborators all across the country. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Karnataka University in 1985. He has built the practice for over 35 years, which includes designing many major landmarks across the city of Latur. His work has led more than 120+ projects from conception to reality that include institutions, and religious and industrial buildings. He also led a team responsible for the construction of 619 houses along with schools and community centers for the rehabilitation efforts for the villages Haregav, Kavli, and Jwalgavadi which were severely affected during the 1993 Latur earthquake. He was part of an initiative where he consulted around 400+ Houses for rainwater harvesting.
Over the years he has worked as an advisor and consultant for different firms, companies, trusts, and institutions as a structural consultant. He is also a Govt. Approved valuer and have been empaneled valuer on multiple nationalized and cooperative banks.

Architect & Urban Designer
Abhilash is an Architect and Urban designer He completed his master’s in urban design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He is also a certified GRIHA professional and an Approved Valuer and has experience working with large firms in Mumbai, Delhi & and Ahmedabad. Abhilash has worked on a broad range of projects that include IT parks, institutions, commercial offices and housing complexes, campus master plans, street design, and urban scale intervention. He has worked as a project associate and was responsible for design development and execution. Currently, he is the lead architect on institutional campus master planning and various other urban-scale projects including a convention center, institutional buildings, and commercial projects.
